*Must live within commutable distance to the NYC area and be in office 2-3 days a week

THE ROLE

The Analyst, Global Strategy will support key strategic initiatives to ensure Wella’s sustained market leadership and superior value creation. This role supports the research, analysis, and framing required to develop our customer and consumer-centric growth strategies. This individual will support best-in-class development and execution of strategic projects across topics including brand, new market, category, channel, go-to-market, business model, and capability extensions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

○ Lead data collection, research, rigorous analysis, pro-forma development, and decks that create value for operators and Wella Company

○ Work closely with strategy team to prepare and deliver key workstreams of company-wide strategy projects. Support the strategic planning process, providing quantitative and qualitative analysis and material preparation.

○ Support development of a comprehensive competitive intelligence and market mapping program, conducting market listening and analysis to identify white space opportunities for Wella brands

○ Foster collaboration and excellence between Corporate Strategy and Wella’s cross-functional teams. Be an integral part of a strong, inspired function, rooted in an engaged team of excellent strategic leaders and teammates that enhances our corporate culture and capabilities.

○ Support functional excellence, consistently bringing new ways to refine and improve our functional methodologies, techniques and how we work. Act with speed/urgency, while safeguarding engagement and team wellness

QUALIFICATIONS:

○ 2+ years relevant experience across consulting, finance, consumer insights or analytics, ideally with a CPG focus

○ Undergraduate degree from a top academic institution required.

○ Learns quickly and thrives in fast-paced environments

○ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with desire to gain insights and answers from qualitative and quantitative data. Working knowledge of financial statements

○ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; authentically values diversity.

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
