Position Title: Associate Director, Global Brand Operations & Portfolio, Retail/Travel Retail OPI

Location: Calabasas (CA), United States Hybrid, 3-days in office

Reports to:  Emi Moreno, Senior Director OPI Global Product Marketing   

Direct Reports: 1

Scope / Brands:  OPI: direct responsibility of Premium Retail, Travel Retail and FDM Channels, overview of Professional channels.

 

THE ROLE

The role of Associate Director, Global Brand Operations & Portfolio, Retail/Travel Retail OPI, reporting to Senior Director OPI Global Product Marketing and working closely with the Director, Global Brand Operations, Nail & Prestige Care Brands, will be responsible for leading global portfolio operations efforts as they relate to the commercial and go-to-market strategy for the OPI portfolio. The role requires strong partnership with cross functional partners such as Global Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain teams as well as collaboration with Regional Teams and local markets. .KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns Global OPI Brands Portfolio & Channel 3 yr IMP
  • Leads brand & innovation prioritization reco by market & channel (Where to Play strategy)
  • Drives by channel growth strategy / platform across portfolio and global marketing function
  • Leads deployment & follow through of fit for channel needs & global brand implementation
  • Leads OPI pricing architecture & strategy
  • Leads & creates annual OPI Global Success Model
  • Partners w reg channels teams on new channel portfolio expansion plans
  • Develop Commercial Strategy and 5Ps for OPI Retail Innovation Masterplan

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years’ experience in Global/Regional Commercial Roles in FMCG Industry and 4+ years’ experience in Global Trade Marketing. Experience in Nail or Professional Hair Industry is preferred.
  • Strong track record of autonomous problem-solving and business analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong external focus & in touch with industry/ retailers
  • Gravitas to influence key partners within regions, markets, and cross functional
  • Experience in the nail industry is a plus
  • Experience in Regional or Local Team is a plus
  • English mandatory any other language is a plus
  • A bachelor's degree is required (Business Administration, Marketing, Science or similar discipline), and an MBA is preferred.

 

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $130,500 - $170,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
