THE ROLE
We are seeking an organized, creative, and data-driven Associate Manager, Influencer Marketing to execute our influencer strategy across key brands like Wella Professionals, Clairol and Wella Color Charm. This role will own the development of integrated influencer campaigns that build brand equity, drive consumer engagement, and deliver measurable business results. This role will be responsible for implementing strategic influencer program campaigns that will lead to greater earned media, influencer engagement & best in class paid media creator content. This role requires an experienced self-starter with a positive solution-oriented mindset, that is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This candidate will possess stellar organization skills with a high level of attention to detail, as responsibilities will include management of the brand’s network of consumer and professional influencers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, lead and execute influencer community strategies that will increase brand awareness, engagement, consideration & conversion.
- Identify, vet, and manage relationships with key influencers, creators, and talent agencies across multiple tiers (macro, mid, micro, and nano).
- For Macro talent, lead influencer sourcing, negotiations, contracting, content approvals, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate closely with brand marketing, media, social media, PR, and e-commerce teams to ensure influencer programs are integrated and amplified across programs and channels.
- Manage day to day Influencer Agency, including overseeing earned and paid brand campaigns from briefing to implementation to results; requires working collaboratively with in-house teams like brand marketing, paid media, PR.
- Project management of paid media campaign creator content needs – from ideation to execution to delivering results
- Lead tracking of all program campaigns and influencers within CreatorIQ. Develop program KPI’s and provide monthly and quarterly reporting and insights, with recommendations to action learnings in future programs new program influencers for future paid brand partnerships
- Manage all aspects of the influencer budget – ensuring all activities are on-plan, within budget, and timely.
- Lead influencer communications, strategy and planning with internal shopper marketing teams to drive influencer activation across top customers and channels
- Manage all coordinating aspects of event launches involving influencers i.e., invite list, gifting, onsite coordinating and onsite execution, with Agency support and Manager.
- Brief upcoming product launches and innovations to agencies and contribute to brand brainstorms with creative ideas.
MINIMIUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 Years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, digital marketing, and/or brand partnerships—preferably in the beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or CPG space.
- Detail Oriented: Ability to take in and organize multiple inputs, data points and action items, and simplify to deliver a plan while ensuring accuracy and sufficient depth of information.
- Business Data Analytics: Make recommendations based on data, including costs, Net Revenue, Margins, ROI
- Organized Self-Starter: Comfortable working across teams and functions, able to drive focus, collaborative inputs and agreement to a plan.
- Resourceful team player: Able to juggle multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing critical work and being accountable for results.
- Clear communication skills: Critical to drive clear communication, both written and verbal, across a multi-functional team that spans Influencer landscape.
- Proven track record of building and scaling influencer programs that deliver measurable results.
- Exceptional project management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience with influencer marketing platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, GRIN, Traackr) and social media analytics tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Passion for hair / beauty industry
- Strong influencer relationships either with talent directly or agencies, managers, etc.
- Ability to assimilate concepts and processes quickly and drive follow ups to closure
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles—Pay Range: 80,000 - 106,000 per year plus bonus. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
