THE ROLE

Wella is a leading hair and beauty products company that owns iconic brands like Clairol and OPI. To continue this exciting journey and deliver on our customer promise, we are looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Retail Display Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will lead our promotional displays execution enabling the sales organization to achieve their business goals and is recognized for strong project management skills, attention to detail, keen business acumen, and excellent interpersonal abilities. You excel at cultivating cross functional relationships and are able to persuade others in order to deliver your customer focused end goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads the end-to-end display development process from receiving the request from the Sales team, checking the financials, working on the Mix of the Display with the Sales and Trade-Marketing Team, working with the agencies and the Marketing team to get the creatives, and working with display manufacturer and partners to produce and deliver them on time and within budget
• Builds strong relationships with the Sales organization leading to an in-depth understanding of their retailer, shopper, competition & key focus points to enable development of winning display strategies for Clairol and OPI
• Creates planograms utilizing software similar to Spaceman or JDA
• Defines and plans display annual forecast, roadmap, calendar, and strategies across our customers; Understands the Categories we operate in to identify the promotional opportunities
• Works as part of the Trade Marketing team to create and deliver the displays required to execute the promotional strategy of the retailers
• Manages display budget
• Ensures display readiness, project tracking, and execution

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years’ prior experience in consumer package goods / Visual Merchandising position
• Prior experience with Spaceman or JDA preferred
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Strategic thinking and strong follow through and project management skills
• Understands the display development process to deliver semi-permanent and permanent displays for Wella Company, map future needs and recommend the best approach moving forward
• Ability to problem solve and make design decisions based on analytics
• Proactive approach – take initiative to do what’s needed for the business
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams with a customer-focused mindset
• Strong communication skills needed to ensure flawless process
• Knowledge of hair color or nail categories is a plus

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
