THE ROLE

The Brand Manager identifies business opportunities and works with the multi-functional team to build cohesive commercial plans for brand growth. Uses data analytic skills, deep brand knowledge, market trends and retail customers understanding, along with creativity and critical thinking to unlock local brand success. 

This is a fixed-term contract due to maternity backfill. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Brand Development and Management

Contributes to overall brand vision and sets long-term objectives and strategies for growth. Owns local brand strategic targets, equity and vis ID. Gathers insights to identify brand opportunities and defines the consumer journey for our digital and offline ecosystem. Adapts and localizes global toolboxes, while leading media plans, social media activations, influencer campaigns and local productions. Manages communications and relationships with agency partners.

  1. Portfolio and Initiative Development

Develops and leads annual brand Innovation Master Plan. Aligns the local plans to global brand purpose, local insights & trends, market feedback and white space opportunities. Contributes to innovation pipeline planning and leads local launch execution aligned with global strategy. Monitors portfolio and initiatives performance and recommends actions to optimize product mix, profitability and brand growth.

  1. Commercial & Sales Collaboration

Overviews sales promotion measures in coordination with the trade marketing teams, supporting customer and category growth in alignment with brand priorities. Partners closely with Sales to help develop and deliver brand presentations at retailer strategy meetings. 

  1. KPIs

Owns the brand marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and accurate budget tracking. Responsible for the business success of the brands in line with defined KPIs. Creates and evaluates product, market and competition analysis, recommending actions for improvement. 

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration

Leads cross-functional project teams to ensure successful collaboration and alignment across Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing and Supply Chain functions, contributing to a fun, collaborative and goal-driven environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in related discipline or equivalent.
    • Professional background in Brand Management at Beauty /Hair products FMCG for 5 years.
    • Fluent in Greek and English.
    • A flair for building and managing beauty brands.
    • Entrepreneurial thinking and independent working methods.
    • Pragmatic leadership & good communication skills.
    • Collaborative with excellent priority setting skills.
    • Strong initiative and follow through.
    • Ability to translate brand strategy into customer strategies.
    • High decision-making authority.
    • High affinity for numbers and analytical thinking skills.
    • Creativity and a high digital affinity.

    • Very good presentation skills and techniques.
