THE ROLE

Main responsibility is to manage the demand and supply chain in order to secure an optimal service level, optimizing inventory. Results will and can only be achieved in close collaboration with the main stakeholders: marketing, sales, finance and international supply chain teams.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monthly updating 12 months rolling forecast in the Demand Planning Software (JDA), maintaining cross-references and ensuring data in system are correct. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare and evaluate forecast results.
  • Co-leading the monthly S&OP process and constructing the monthly sales forecast in close collaboration with Sales Marketing and Finance.
  • Being responsible for the customization planning of the company.
  • Managing the launch, renovation, discontinuation, and customization processes together with marketing, sales & international SC team.
  • Managing SKU’s portfolio (NPD’s / Promotional items).
  • Ensuring product availability, with minimum out-of-stocks, retaining high service levels at company standards.
  • Reporting weekly product availability and collaborating with factories to ensure quick replenishment in OOS SKUs.
  • Collaborating with Master Data to change the SFA-iOrder status in SAP.
  • Following-up on new product launches from conception to delivery in local DC.
  • Maintaining lowest possible inventory level, without risk in Service to customers.
  • Developing and implementing projects to reduce inventory levels. Periodically review system parameters (MOQ's, coverage, etc.) with factories.
  • Being an interface between local teams and international SC teams.

 

The holder of the position has full autonomy in execution and can bring his /her own rationale to a passionate business. It’s a high paced and vibrant working environment in which the Planner is at the heart of the organization, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. S /he will be working with an appealing and highly recognizable product portfolio.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master or bachelor’s degree with specialization in Supply Chain.
    • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Demand or Supply Planning.
    • Experience in FMCG /beauty industry.
    • SAP knowledge.
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
    • Excellent command of English.
    • Analytical thinking; Problem solving skills; Flexibility in Thinking.
