Logistics Planning and Export Leader

This role has main responsibilities for overseeing and coordinating end-to-end outbound shipment operations, ensuring smooth execution from product readiness to final delivery. This includes managing order and delivery processes, optimizing container utilization, coordinating with internal teams and freight forwarders, and ensuring alignment with market needs. Additionally, responsible for supporting new product transitions, process changes, and market expansions, including risk assessment and system testing as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Outbound Shipment Operations & Coordination

• Monitor and control outbound shipment operations, ensuring smooth execution and resolving any issues that arise.
• Coordinate with production planning, quality testing, and warehouse teams to ensure timely product supply and shipment readiness.
• Check product availability and manage any necessary alternative solution, order revision or shelf-life/expiration recommendations to align with logistics best practices.
• Discuss and plan shipments with the Distribution requirement planning team and Customer Service Team to ensure alignment with market needs and order priorities.

2. Loading File Management & Container Utilization

• Manage the loading file and finalize the container number for each shipment, ensuring optimal space utilization.
• Create a weekly loading plan for warehouse to maximize transportation efficiency and maintain smooth shipment flow.
• Ensure order confirmation and vessel schedule readiness to avoid delays in outbound operations.

3. Freight Forwarder & Transportation Management

• Lead and manage shipment booking confirmation readiness.
• Oversee freight forwarders, supporting two transport specialists in booking follow-ups and ensuring that all bookings are confirmed without issues.
• Manage freight forwarders to ensure on-time vessel departures.

4. Order & Delivery Management

• Own and manage the entire order management process, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Work proactively with all stakeholders to avoid disruptions in shipments and ensure smooth deliveries for all markets.
• Align shipment schedules and priorities with the Demand Planning Team and Customer Service Team, ensuring order fulfillment meets market demand and customer expectations.

5. Project and initiative execution including transition of new product, process and market

• Address outbound logistics data requirement and highlight risk assessment.
• Ensure smooth set-up and transition for all projects.
• Execution of system testing if required, to support new market expansion.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics planning, export operations, or supply chain management.
• Experience in coordinating with freight forwarders and 3PL providers, including performance monitoring.
• Good communication in English, Verbally and Written as needed to contact with counterpart.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as Macro, VLOOKUP, and data analysis, with a focus on continuous improvement in reporting and process efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize container loading, transportation efficiency, and logistics costs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple export markets simultaneously.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.
