THE ROLE
As a member of a small and agile team within R&D Hair Color, you will support the organization in running scientific experiments. You will be responsible for data acquisition, including sample preparation, measurement execution, and data analysis, as well as generating hair color and image data. Additionally, you will support the maintenance and smooth operation of digital color IT systems. Your weekly working time is 20 hours during the semester - an increased working time during the semester break is possible with flexible time arrangements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be part of small and agile Hair Color R&D Digital Color team
- Support the organization to setup robust scientific experiments and data management/analysis
- Own data acquisition (sample preparation, measurement execution, data analysis)
- Generate hair color and image data
- Help to develop and execute product demo ideas
- Support maintenance and smooth operation digital color IT systems
- Opportunity to manage specific projects independently
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Student in natural science or similar
- Ongoing scientific studies for at least 1 year
- High interest in learning additional skills if necessary
- High level of self-management during complex tasks
- Organised and structured working approach in a reliable and careful way,
- Solution-oriented attitude, conceptual and analytical thinking, striving for results, flexibility, and responsiveness
- Enthusiastic and collaborative team player who enjoys working in multi-cultural & diverse teams across departments, regions & globe
- Good communication skills - written and verbal, Fluent in English
Appreciated:
- Coding experience in Python/VBA/C++
- High interest in learning additional skills in the area of computer science/image processing/machine learning
