Scope / Brands:  OPI, Sebastian, Nioxin, Professional Channels, FDM, Premium Retail and E-com channels.

THE ROLE

The role of Director, Global Brand Operations, Nail & Prestige Care Brands, reporting to and working closely with the VP Global Brand Portfolio Operations, will be responsible for leading global portfolio operations efforts as they relate to the commercial and go-to-market strategy for the Nail and Prestige Care portfolio. The role requires strong partnership with cross functional partners such as Global Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain teams as well as collaboration with Regional Teams and local markets. .KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns Global OPI and Premium Care Brands Portfolio & Channel 3 yr IMP
  • Leads brand & innovation prioritization reco by market & channel (Where to Play strategy)
  • Drives by channel growth strategy / platform across portfolio and global marketing function
  • Leads portfolio pricing architecture & strategy
  • Leads & creates annual Brands Global Success Model and Category Growth Story
  • Partners w reg channels teams on new channel portfolio expansion plans
  • Support Nail & Prestige Care Innovation Masterplan ensuring best practices are met
  • Insights-driven Business Reporting & Sharing w/ Wella Lead Team  
  • Analyze portfolio performance & provide optimization recommendation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years’ experience in Global/Regional Commercial Roles in FMCG Industry and 6+ years’ experience in Global Trade Marketing. Experience in Professional Hair Industry is preferred.
  • Strong track record of strategic view, ability to energize team and execute strategy
  • Strong track record of autonomous problem-solving and business analysis with minimal guidance/ lead team involvement
  • Strong Strategic Thinking & framework / template development skills paired with excellent communication skills
  • Strong commercial know-how
  • Strong external focus & in touch with industry/ retailers
  • Strong coaching skills as Brand Operations teams will have to lead sub-categories independently
  • Gravitas to influence key partners within regions, markets, and cross functional
  • Very organized and able to lead multifunctional team, manage all global and local stakeholders and timings in parallel
  • Experience in the salon industry is a plus
  • Experience in Regional or Local Team is a plus
  • English mandatory any other language is a plus
  • A bachelor's degree is required (Business Administration, Marketing, Science or similar discipline), and an MBA is preferred.
