KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Provide financial leadership via deep P&L and financial data understanding; provide actionable insights and support Marketing & Trade Marketing Team.
  • Lead Strategic Planning, yearly budget and rolling forecast for the Brands; ensure, sufficiency of the building blocks to achieve the long-term objectives.
  • Lead the innovation analysis; drive the revenue sufficiency and margin-accretiveness of the innovation pipeline;
  • Own innovation management system, drive the adoption and continuous approval; guarantee robustness of the financials;
  • Facilitate the alignment of innovation forecast and targets across teams.
  • Lead cost of goods analysis and gap closing vs. target
  • Prepare and provide regular financial reporting; provide adhoc analysis upon request.  
  • Understands the brand performance, perform variance analysis and identify key causes of business variances for performance measurement. 
  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts. Implement dashboard reports.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 5+ years of business experience in the private or public industry (CPG preferred), with demonstrated ability to deliver strong results.
  • Strong communication / presentation skills; ability to present complex matters concisely; ability to present to top management.
  • Strong analytical skills and creative problem solving.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence multifunctional team (often of higher seniority and hierarchy level).
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguous challenges and imperfect data.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize.
  • High standards of accuracy and precision; operational discipline; ability to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Proven track record of turning data insights into a business decision.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office (Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills are necessary). Knowledge of SAP, Sap HANA, Oracle is a plus.

 

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
