THE ROLE

 

The role of Senior Manager Indirect Procurement is to create and drive the strategic and some

transformative interventions for the Business Services, Facility Management and Industrials

Categories. This is an exciting opportunity to support Wella Global functional leaders in bringing

Procurement expertise to all new initiatives. You will influence the design and strategic choices in this

area building upon existing strategies and participating to transformational initiative.

 

Working closely with Industrials and Business Services Global Director and category buyers you will be

implementing new strategies, lead project management efforts, and build relationship management

capabilities in these categories. You will engage internal stakeholders to review business needs and

propose strategic transformation choices to deliver value and growth.

 

You will work to develop the right supplier relationships management with our existing and new

suppliers. Spend in this role is 40 Million$ with important growth potential.

You are responsible for delivering the business services, facility management and industrials growth

plans, fiscal year objectives and longer-term interventions in the 3-5 years horizon. You will work

closely with our Global functional leaders and regional leadership team members to develop and

implement plans that improve value in terms of service, quality cost and cash. You will work to ensure

strong performance on all elements of supply, savings and enabling best practices by leveraging

Category and Regional procurement capabilities.

You will ensure appropriate support and alignment with regional and local teams, R&D, Operations,

Marketing and Finance in the implementation and execution of the strategy and projects. In all your

activities you are acting as a commercial expert to ensure best value and strong stewardship of the

company’s money to deliver best value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Business:

 

• Create sourcing strategies and strategic interventions in your area

• Focus on transformational initiatives both internally within procurement and with the Business

functional leads and category/regional procurement peers

• Deliver fiscal year targets in 2023 and establish 3-year business plan

• Create supplier relationships pattern to enable Year on Year improvement in quality, service,

talent and value

• Identify and implement new supplier relationship management technics

• Use new tools to make sourcing simpler and more efficient

• Support business plans to improve ethical and environmental sourcing

• Implement governance and control in your area of expertise

 

Organization:

 

• Develop capability to deliver maximum efficiency and value to business

• Review supply needs and technical capabilities and secure external capability to deliver these

• Engage and influence stakeholders in Category Strategy definition and implementation

• Motivated to continue personal training and development in procurement best practices and skills

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Profile and education:

 

• Experience in Procurement, ideally in the Professional Service, Facility Management and

broader Indirect categories, at least 8-10 years

• Work experience in an international environment and matrix organizations

• Capable and proven track record of stakeholder management including business Leaders

(internal and external)

• Experience in consumer goods company

• Degree qualified preferably in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or other relevant

discipline. MBA advantageous.

• High degree of fluency in written and spoken English. Any other language is a plus.
