THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Engineering team. This role will integrate operational support, technology lifecycle management, developing, reapplying, and delivering processes and packing technologies focus on renovation and business continuity. This will support the capital (CAPEX) investment on new processes or replacements to support innovation, production continuity, efficiency through the creation of process control and production equipment.

Project Manager coordinates multifunctional team to create and deliver efficient systems at our manufacturing sites including material handling, automation, site facilities, security, and communications in accordance with legal and internal Safety, Quality and Governance requirements. Management of Project Management skills is required to design the required operational strategies to create strong, reliable and efficient operation in line with latest industry standards.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owner of the cost, schedule and quality of the control platform updates.
  • Lead the detailed design development and support construction and startup of new equipment.
  • Actively participates in daily operational support to solve new technologies implementation, breakdowns, and strategic operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure effective communication between engineering team and operations team to align project success criteria, equipment, and operational improvements, impact less interventions and plant standards.
  • Assure site specific needs are considered in the design.
  • Owner of the Project Cost Status Report (PCSR)

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • Major Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Cosmetic, Food or Pharmaceutical industry background (>5 yr).
  • Project Management Professional (PMI®) or similar experience (>5 yr).
  • Experience on Safety, Quality and Construction Management
  • Leadership. Multifunctional team management.
  • Effective Communication. English - Fluid talk and written.
  • Available for occasional travel and weekend activities.

Desirable:

  • >5 yr Experience on Project Management
  • Operational background on Lean Manufacturing, Maintenance and Storeroom
  • Utilities & Material Handling technologies.
  • Advance Project Management skills. EWP / PMI certification
  • Intermediate knowledge of Capital Management and Construction Management skills.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Initiative Management base systems: Projects Work Process, Design Reviews, CQV, Reliability Engineering, etc.
  • Strong collaboration skills. Interact with different Plant Operations, Contractors, R&D, Construction, Innovation, etc.
  • Risk Management. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
