Analyst, Internal Control

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Associate Director Internal Control, you will be responsible to maintain and reinforces the company’s Internal Control environment, to ensure process efficiency and compliance with SOX regulation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support in maintaining a strong internal control level across the organization.
- Analyze and document business process flows and related controls documentation through implementation of narratives, guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and flowcharts;
- Support local control owners in all matters related to IC and SOX compliance, including control implementation, evaluation and resolution of identified control deficiencies;
- Complete a yearly Internal Control Self-Assessment (ICSA) by applying testing methodology and recommendations set by IC team; support local stakeholders in ICSA results review;
- Monitor and review control evidences via Control Performance module;
- Participate in regular network connects with other Internal Control Single Point of Contacts (IC SPOCs) across the Wella world;
- Support external and internal auditors during the audits to identify potential weaknesses and create value added, follow up on identified deficiencies,
- Operate GRC software used as a repository for Wella Internal Controls;
- Help to review and apply global policies and procedures,
- Build the department’s standing and credibility throughout the organization.
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG
- You are an Excellent team player and can work independently,
- You have 3 plus years’ experience as an Internal Auditor or as an Internal Control professional in a large multinational organization, or in Big Four advisory, assurance and/or auditing,
- You have a degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or a Professional certification (CPA, CIA),
- You have SOX 404 compliance and internal controls evaluation experience that followed a controls framework (COSO, COBIT) as well as a thorough understanding of SOX requirements and operational/financial risk of a global manufacturing company,
- You are recognized by your excellent written and oral communication skills,
- You have an advanced level in computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases, skills in IT auditing would be a plus,
- You can execute multiple assignments by required deadlines,
- You are fluent in English, second language is a plus,
- You have a high attention to details and excellent analytical skills and your ability to run audit assignments in a good team spirit will make you perform on this new challenge.
- This position requires up to 30% travel rate, this flexibility is required.
