ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Financial analyst will support one of the largest business units for Wella - UK&I business unit, across the number of financial analysis, reporting, accounting tasks and will support key business processes. The role with evolve with evolving business needs and opportunities of the UK&I market. Working remotely with Senior Brand & Sales finance manager in the UK and wider multifunctional team, they are in charge of:

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Performing Gross margin and Gross to Net analysis under supervision of Senior Brand & Sales finance manager: promotional discount drivers vs PY, contractual discount drivers, Bleeder and Power SKU analysis etc.
  • Support Global UK pilot for SAP analytics cloud for A&CP controlling
  • Facilitating “STREAM” price change process: technical support, approvals tracking, form checks and upload, communication with interested parties on status/help needed
  • Month end closure: assisting Senior Brand & Sales finance manager in Advertising & Consumer Promotions month-end by maintaining and updating budget tracking, extracting actuals from SAP, Goods Receipt and Purchase orders reports checks, communications to budget owners on missing GRs and/or collecting supporting documentation for accruals; support with Journal Entries preparation
  • Support in CAPEX process: Internal orders creation and costs allocation tracking, Fixed assets review

The role’s responsibilities will evolve in accordance with evolving business needs and opportunities of the UK&I market.

 

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Knowlegde of SAP
  • Holder of an accountancy or equivalent qualification
  • Analytical & reporting skills. Ability to manipulate large data sets and handle complexity
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Disciplined work ethic with excellent attention to detail
  • Growth mindset and proactive attitute
  • Willing to learn and develop, within a growing global business

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of IT software and tools (Hyperion Financial Management, etc)
