Finance Transformation Project Manager (12 months fixed-term contract)

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Finance Transformation Project Manager will be an essential part of our dynamic Finance Team, reporting to the Global FP&A Director Capability & Projects.
This role focuses on leading Finance scope of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) program implementation in Wella company, management of key data and system architecture elements enabling IBP implementation and integration with other Wella systems (datalake/SAP/Oracle EPM) and providing support in the financial process redesign and optimization across Wella Corporate functions and commercial regions.
Important notice: this is 12 months temporary contract.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Project Management & Governance
- Define and lead the finance workstream within the IBP implementation, ensuring alignment with overall program goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Supply Chain, IT (internal and external), and project stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery for the finance scope, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop and implement change management, including training, communication, and user support for finance teams.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance modules, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
- Monitor data accuracy and system performance, resolving finance-related issues proactively.
Finance Process Design & Optimization
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive adoption.
- Redesign and optimize core finance processes (e.g., forecasting, budgeting, financial planning & analysis) to align with Blue Yonder IBP capabilities.
- Integrate financial KPIs into the IBP framework to enable real-time performance monitoring and scenario planning.
System Configuration & Integration
- Translate finance business needs into system configurations and functional specifications.
- Support data mapping, cleansing, and validation to ensure financial data integrity.
- Oversee integration of Blue Yonder with Wella’s systems (Data Lake, SAP, Oracle EPM) for seamless financial reporting and data flow.
Post-Go-Live Support & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and manage post-implementation support for finance users.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing system performance and identifying enhancement opportunities.
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing ERP or financial system implementations (e.g., Blue Yonder, SAP, Oracle EPM).
- At least 3 years of experience in finance transformation or financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder IBP modules is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, especially involving Finance, IT, and Supply Chain.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and systems integration.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English
- Project management certification is a plus
