Role Overview 


We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Assistant Social Brand Manager with a passion for TikTok and social media trends. This role focuses on leveraging TikTok to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales across our portfolio of consumer brands. In addition to creating and analyzing impactful content, you will manage relationships with content, influencer, and platform agencies to ensure seamless execution of our social strategies. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Content Creation & Strategy: 
    Develop and execute engaging TikTok content strategies aligned with brand objectives, including viral campaigns and TikTok Shop activations. Oversee content calendars and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.  

  • Agency Management: 
    Lead day-to-day interactions with external content, influencer, and platform agencies to ensure alignment with Wella's goals and brand guidelines for all social activation plans. Monitor performance and provide direction to optimize results. 

  • Influencer Team Collaboration: 
    Collaborate with the Influencer and Brand Managers to amplify brand visibility via share of voice, credibility and resonance via engagement rate and conversion via drive to Ecom or Tiktok shop by ensuring our other go to market plans connect with our owned, earned and paid efforts on the Tiktok channels. 

  • Platform Optimization: 
    Stay updated on TikTok's evolving features and best practices, and work with agencies to maximize platform functionality and integrating in to plans how to leverage them to grow the reach, resonance and impact for the Wella brands. 

  • Analytics & Performance Monitoring: 
    Track and analyze TikTok performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion rates. Ensure reporting from agencies is consistent and aligned with KPIs. 

  • Innovation & Trends: 
    Experiment with emerging trends and formats on TikTok, positioning Wella Company as an industry leader in social media innovation. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: 
    Work closely with internal marketing, PR, and digital teams to maintain a cohesive brand presence across all channels. Work closely with the Tiktok shop representative of the Ecommerce team to ensure a cohesive plan across owned, earned and paid activation driving to deliver our targets for Tiktok shop across all the brands that operate on that platform. 

 

Qualifications & Skills 

 

  • Proven experience in social media marketing, with a specific focus on TikTok (minimum 2-3 years). 

  • Strong track record of content creation and campaigns that drive engagement, reach and business results. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with external agencies and partners. 

  • Expertise in social media analytics tools and an ability to translate data into actionable insights. 

  • Proficiency in TikTok Shop to drive e-commerce sales is highly desirable. 

  • Creative storytelling skills with a consumer-first mindset. Hands on experience with content creation and editingn 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management abilities. 

  • Passion for the beauty industry and understanding of Wella Company’s core markets.
