THE ROLE

 

At Wella Digital, we cooperate with every part of the company, enabling effective and efficient business operations. in an international, mutli-divisional environment.

  3. Speed and Agility – we embrace change and deliver agile solutions to reduce cost of change and meet respond quickly to business needs i.e., maximise use of API without need to redesign
  4. Compliance – Our solutions will ensure ongoing regulatory and legal compliances to minimize business exposure to risk i.e., security, data access, GDPR

 

Reporting directly to the global Vice President Technology & GTM Innovation, the Associate Director of Digital Technology will be a high profile role and will be responsible for the ongoing successful technical support and decision making of key technical products and platforms, including Wella main B2B channel WellaStore, as well as the future digital technical global architecture. You will need to manage, develop and grow a global team focusing on delivering world class digital solutions to our customer, consumer and internal stakeholders.

 

Your role will be to ensure all technical solutions are in line with the global digital strategy driving measurable positive business impact. Evaluating and selecting the correct technology solutions, focusing on global scale and speed, you will be responsible for the global platforms, roadmap and supporting the product teams in making the right technical choices.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the future state architecture for digital.
  • Provide technical guidance and technical resources to support solution delivery
  • Enhance key digital solutions such as Wella B2B solution
  • Lead the integration across multiple solutions (such as SAP CRM and customer experience solutions, DAM, PIM, ERP)
  • Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
  • Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of Digital and IT standards and procedures.
  • Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.
  • Interface with IT function to ensure enterprise level alignment
  • Ensure all projects and delivery teams are interconnected and driving towards the same end state architecture
  • Manage, develop and grow a global technical delivery team
  • Partnering and working closely with other directors within digital such as Director of Infrastructure & Operations and Director of Digital Domains
  • Managing and forecasting budgets across multiple projects
  • Managing multi third partners to ensure quick, high quality and cost effective solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • This role requires an experienced and highly organised professional
  • 10-12 years relevant work experience in the Digital field of which around 5 years in management with some years in a state-of-the-art corporate environment
  • Strong technical experience in large organisations
  • Extensive experience of management and oversight across a range of Digital projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication / interpersonal skills and negotiating ability
  • Ability to understand user needs, expectations and impacts of any changes
  • Planning, analytical and project management skills
  • Experience of managing significant delivery budgets
  • Commercial acumen in relation to vendor management and service contracts in the Digital space
  • Experience of delivery multi-million pound global technical solutions
  • Creating and leading multiple technical delivery teams across multiple geographies
  • working knowledge of agile delivery methodology
  • experience with SAPs CRM and customer experience suite (SAP commerce cloud, marketing cloud, service cloud)
