THE ROLE
The Education Brand Manager, OPI, is responsible for developing and implementing education strategies that align with brand objectives and drive business growth. Acting as the voice of the nail professional, this role ensures impactful education programs and go-to-market activations that maximize market share, revenue, and distribution expansion.
The Education Brand Manager will collaborate closely with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, and Education teams to create compelling education content, integrate digital learning, and develop activation initiatives that strengthen professional capabilities while enhancing consumer engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Education Strategy & Brand Integration

Develop and execute education plans that align with OPI’s brand strategy and business objectives.

Act as the key education partner to Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Sales teams, ensuring seamless alignment between education and commercial initiatives.

Adapt global toolkits to create tailored educational resources for local markets.
2. Product & Category Education

Translate OPI’s product innovations into compelling education content that enhances product knowledge and brand affinity among nail professionals and consumers.

Provide technical insights and feedback on new product developments (NPD) to support go-to-market strategy and market deployment.

Support marketing in developing compelling brand stories and media campaigns that resonate with professionals and consumers.
3. Education Content Development & Deployment

Design and deliver technical training, digital education assets, and activation strategies that elevate brand engagement.

Ensure education materials and training programs are optimized for both professional and consumer audiences.

Oversee the creation and deployment of education assets across field teams, studio education, and digital platforms.
4. Digital Education & Activation

Develop and implement digital-first education strategies, including e-learning modules, live-streaming sessions, and interactive content.

Work with marketing and external partners to integrate education into social media and community management strategies.

Leverage emerging digital tools to enhance the reach and impact of professional and consumer education.
5. Event & Activation Support

Partner with the brand team to design education-led activations that drive engagement and conversion in salons, retail, and e-commerce.

Plan and execute training events, trade shows, and professional competitions to elevate brand presence.

Support go-to-market initiatives, ensuring education is embedded in all sales and marketing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Craft & Industry Expertise
-
NVQ in Nail Technology L3 or equivalent.
-
Teaching qualification, minimum requirement AET or PTLLS.

Experience as a trainer or educator in the nail or beauty industry with a strong understanding of professional and consumer education needs.

Experience designing and delivering engaging technical education programs.
Digital-First Mindset

Strong knowledge of digital education tools, e-learning platforms, and content creation for social media and online channels.

Comfortable with video production, live streaming, and interactive learning experiences.

Passion for leveraging digital innovation to expand education reach and impact.
Education & Training Experience

5+ years of experience in professional beauty education or training
-
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, both in-person and virtual.

Experience in curriculum development and adult learning methodologies.
Project Management & Collaboration

Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and education teams to drive business objectives.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proficiency in MS Office and digital learning tools.
