We’re looking for a Social Media Strategy Manager to join our Marketing team. This is a brand new role which will shape our owned platform strategy and drive our goal to be the #1 Beauty Community by establishing and growing our reach across both professionals and end consumers. Reporting to our Head of Comms, you will get to fully define our local social media strategy, channels and content, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.


  • Define and map the overall social media strategy for the Professional Hair owned platforms
  • Brief, create and execute local content calendars by liaising with key internal and external stakeholders including Brand, Design, Education and Community partners
  • Own relationship with external agency
  • Define, measure and report KPIs to the UKI Lead Team and wider business
  • Share best practice across UKI and Global teams





  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or similar
  • 3+ years experience of working in a Digitally-focused marketing role in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrable examples of successfully managing a range of social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Workplace, YouTube…) and growing audiences & engagement on behalf of a brand or company
  • Proven ability to drive new ideas and plans through to completion
  • Creative and innovative thinker; brings the outside in and continually challenges the status quo
  • Analytical and data driven; uses data insights to drive constantly improve and raise the bar
  • Experience of successfully delivering projects within cross-functional teams
  • Previous agency management essential


  • A post-grad qualification in Digital Marketing would be a plus
  • Beauty experience preferred
