Title: Intern, Consumer and Market Insights (CMI)

Location: Calabasas, California (Temporarily remote)

Reports to: Senior Manager CMI, Professional Hair Color

We’re looking for a (CMI) Consumer and Market Insights Intern to join our team. In this role you will support the Professional Hair Color, Senior Manager. You will work on a specific project as we develop 5P (Product, Price, Promotion, Place, and People) strategies for our brands, and you will gain foundational data skills.


Summer interns work 25 hours a week maximum. Internships will generally extend June to August but can be flexible based on your individual availability. There may be an opportunity to extend through the school year and roll into a Fall Internship. Network and learn about full-time opportunities!   • Shadowing and training alongside colleagues to learn processes
  • Learn and manage a short-term project within CMI and Professional Hair Color. The project will be shopper and market insights focused to guide the strategic decision making and brand building efforts
  • Collaboration with colleagues
  • Participation in regular meetings, brainstorms, trainings, etc. 
  • Administrative support to the team
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Current student at an accredited university or recent graduate
  • Undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate with a degree in Business, Communication, or related field.
  • Insatiable curiosity to learn, grow, and understand shoppers and retailers
  • Analytic thinking, a love for data and problem solving.
  • Professional and positive communication skills, both written and verbal
