THE ROLE 

To continue this exciting journey and deliver on our customer promise, we are looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Trade Marketing professional to join the team. The Sr. Trade Marketing Manager (TMM) leads the Go To Market Strategy for the US. The TMM translates the Brand & Innovation strategy into external Category growth opportunities for our customers, across the relevant channels. The TMM owns the 4Ps strategy and execution and enables the sales teams to deliver against them. The TMM also guides the Brand innovation team to solve for the needs of the market by conducting clear analysis of the category and competitive opportunities.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Analyze the business and 4Ps to define the key business drivers in your channel for the Category
  • Define the Category Growth platform
  • Define relevant and stretch 4Ps KPIs
  • Create and own the 4Ps strategies to deliver against the KPIs
  • Define the 4Ps principles by channel as our local success model
  • Design cross-functional engagement strategies for subject matter expert topics
  • Deliver Innovation launch commercial strategy and KPIs
  • Deliver best in class sales enabling tools (Concept Sell, Sales engagement plan, Seasonal materials, etc…)
  • Deliver consistent customer/competitive understanding and update Brand team
  • Deliver Standardized ways of working to drive compliance to Local Success Model and delivery of financial targets
  • Develop the sales team you work with to make them more strategic and future             trade marketers
  • Partner, challenge, and push sales team to deliver better outcomes together

Essential:  

  • 5+ years’ prior experience in consumer package goods sales / trade marketing environment 
  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • Strategic thinking – you are thrilled to understand rationale and business drivers to build your recommendations
  • Proactive approach – take initiative to do what’s needed for the business 
  • Strong Business analysis skills, detail oriented 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams with a customer-focused mindset 
  • Ability to lead & influence the cross functional team 

 

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $98,300- $163,000 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
