THE ROLE 

We are actively looking for our future Analytics Manager, eCommerce. This role will support the entire NA eCommerce sales channel and provide data and insights to support growing the eCommerce businesses for Wella Company.

The Manager will play a pivotal role in interpreting business results and providing actionable insights to drive business performance. This individual will have a deep understanding of Amazon and DTC channels, and will be proactive in leveraging data to inform business strategies. The ideal candidate will be organized, structured, and motivated to visualize data in meaningful ways to support decision-making processes.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Analyze and interpret ongoing business performance and propose recommendations to improve key KPIs (net revenue, consumption, traffic, average order value, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • Create structured reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Providing analytical & financial support including optimization opportunities, white space opportunities, distributing reports, managing customer spend/budget.
  • Supports operational excellence with Amazon and other e-retailers (e.g. supply, forecasting), key liaison with supply and demand team on forecast accuracy.
  • Liasing with Amazon AVS and eCommerce Managers to provide insights and recommendations for improving fundamentals of assortment, catalog efficiency and order accuracy.
  • Promotion analysis on key digital campaigns including profitability, run rate, sales lift, budget, and expected sales.
  • Conduct analysis that help drive business results (market basket analysis, promotional analysis, purchase behavior, share, etc.)
  • Communicate and partner with our key leaders to deeply understand the business questions and apply data techniques to support high quality decision-making.
  • Build our financial and operational data infrastructure and support scripts and updates needed to ensure timely, accurate data flows.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Advanced Excel is a must

• 2-4 years of e-commerce experience, previous experience with large e-retailer and/or Amazon

• Proficient at analyzing Amazon Brand Analytics

• Background and knowledge in accounting and/or finance a plus

• Knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Management, Finance or other relevant study preferred

• Affinity with Beauty - Experience in consumer or professional goods, Beauty/Fashion industry a plus

• Ideal experience with: Adobe Analytics, Emarsys, Attentive, Omniture, SAP/BW, Vendor Central, AMC, Crisp and/or other API connector tools

 

SPECIALIZED SKILLS REQUIRED:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

Experience with data management and data governance best practices.

Highly organized, structured, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

 

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $100,000-130,000 salary per year. Depending on the role, other rewards may include an annual bonus plan or variable pay. In addition, Wella Company provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
