THE ROLE
Accelerate Hair Color category performance by identifying trends and growth avenues that meet hair color users and business partners’ needs, translated into portfolio, category space and shelf layout strategies that maximize the purchasing experience.
Sustain Category Captaincies with top Customers by developing category management strategies that translate into accelerated category growth.
Shopper and channel trends insight generator to drive actions that potentialize hair color category growth and Wella category leadership.
Responsible for the development of the Category Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sustain category captaincies with top customers.
- Provide insights to improve perfect store picture of success per sales channel.
- Collaborate in design channel toolkits (strategy, assortment, shelf).
- Provide category insights and recommended actions to accelerate hair color growth.
- Analyze the performance of the category through weekly and quarterly evaluations, among others to identify opportunities and insights for improvement.
- Protect and grow the distribution of our brands within the market
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (especially Marketing and Sales) to ensure timely execution of projects.
- Ensure the timely and correct delivery of scorecards, reports and planograms to the captaincies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Category Management or related Department within the Retail sector.
- Strong analytical skills and mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
- Good knowledge and understanding of local trade retailers.
- A high level of commitment and sense of accountability.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficient in planogram programs (Space Planning, Spaceman).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Desirable:
- Experience working within a global matrixed organization.
