THE ROLE 

We are actively looking for our future eCommerce Merchandising Coordinator, reporting to the Associate Manager, Merchandising Sales. 

The eCommerce Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for helping execute best-in-class brand store and PDP experiences to elevate the customer journey on Amazon for brands under the WELLA Company.   

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

  • Implements ongoing improvements in digital merchandise presentation and performance. 

  • Maintains product listings and ensure content accuracy based off reporting data.  

  • Uploads newest content (images, videos, creative) and stays aware of any updates with cross-functional brand support. 

  • Increases SEO value of PDPs (titles, descriptions, attributes) via keyword enhancements and brand insights. 

  • Conducts ongoing audits for content readiness to assess areas of opportunity. 

  • Utilizes performance metrics to optimize product listings based off category insights and best practices.  

  • Liaises between Amazon Vendor Specialists and Wella Account Managers to execute recommendations for improving fundamentals of best-in-class product execution and customer experience.  

  • Reviews competitor landscape to ensure industry alignment with categorization, promotions, seasonal trends, and content excellence.  

  • Focuses and brings awareness to new opportunities for A/B testing, beta launches, and/or new wireframe Amazon releases.  

  • Works with Amazon team to analyse and utilize data to understand performance of creative treatments.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • College degree or equivalent years of school plus relevant work experience 

  • Previous experience with large e-retailer in merchandising or account-facing role 

  • Digital optimization (e.g. SEO, PDP, brand store, product optimization) experience within DTC or BTC.   

  • 1-2 years of e-commerce/digital merchandising experience 

  • Microsoft office suite with Intermediate Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) 

  • System savvy; Adobe Photoshop basics is a plus 

  • Ability to problem solve and recommend solutions; Escalates barriers proactively 

  • Applies a continuous improvement mindset to enhance processes/reporting 

  • Keen attention to details while managing multiple work streams; Applies a data driven approach to make best business recommendations  

  • Delivers flawless execution; Meets deadlines  

  • Strong verbal and written communicator that spans all levels and locations; Strong collaborator that thinks end user or customer first
