THE ROLE 

 

We are looking for an entrepreneurial E-commerce & Performance Media (Paid Digital Marketing) Manager to build and execute our digital commerce and performance marketing strategy across LATAM, with an initial focus on Mexico, Argentina, and Chile. This is a unique opportunity to build from the ground up—co-creating the strategic roadmap, setting priorities, and driving execution while quickly unlocking low-hanging opportunities to generate momentum.

 

Reporting directly to the GM of LATAM, this role will be instrumental in accelerating e-commerce and digital marketing as a strategic growth pillar. The ideal candidate has a strong hands-on approach, entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in fast-moving environments, and can balance long-term vision with immediate wins.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Build & Execute the E-commerce Strategy

• Develop a clear roadmap for e-commerce growth across the region, prioritizing key markets (Mexico, Argentina, Chile).

• Lead relationships with key e-commerce customers (Mercado Libre, Amazon, and top brick & click retailers), ensuring strong partnerships and execution excellence.

• Assess and fix foundational e-commerce basics (portfolio distribution, content, pricing, availability, rates and reviews).

• Define and implement basic execution guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital sales channels.

 

 

2. Launch & Scale Paid Digital Marketing

• Develop a performance marketing framework from scratch, including SEM, Paid Social, Display, and Retailers Ads (Amazon Ads, Mercado Libre Ads).

• Identify and execute quick-win opportunities to drive traffic and conversion while building towards a long-term scalable model.

• Set up and optimize campaign tracking, measurement, and reporting, ensuring full visibility of performance and ROI.

• Work closely with agencies and internal stakeholders to create compelling, high-performing ad creatives and audience targeting strategies.

 

3. Drive Commercial Growth & Unlock Quick Wins

• Identify and implement low-hanging fruit opportunities to drive immediate revenue growth, such as:

• Setting right portfolio for top customers and Improving product availability.

• Optimize pricing, promotional strategies, and customer engagement to improve marketplace performance.

• Unlocking key search terms in Mercado Libre and Amazon Ads.

• Develop a growth playbook that balances quick execution with long-term transformation.

 

4. Data-Driven Execution & Reporting

• Set up a data-driven decision-making approach, defining key KPIs (ROAS, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, etc.).

• Build foundational reporting and tracking capabilities to measure performance and continuously improve execution.

• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate digital commerce data into overall business planning.

 

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Execution Acceleration

• Work directly with the GM of LATAM to ensure e-commerce and digital marketing remain a top strategic priority.

• Align with internal teams, customers, and partners to accelerate execution and drive measurable business impact.

• Lead conversations with Amazon, Mercado Libre, and key retailers to enhance partnerships and drive better execution.

• Educate internal teams on e-commerce and digital marketing fundamentals, building a digital-first mindset within the organization.

 

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in E-commerce and Paid Digital Marketing, with a strong focus on Mercado Libre and Amazon and performance media.

• Proven track record of building from scratch—setting strategy, defining priorities, and executing in high-growth environments.

• Strong hands-on execution ability while balancing long-term strategy.

• Deep knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, Mercado Libre Ads, and key performance marketing tools.

• Strong commercial mindset with experience in managing relationships with key e-commerce players.

• Experience in LATAM markets, particularly Mexico and/or Argentina.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where problem-solving and adaptability are key.

• Fluency in Spanish.
