THE ROLE
You will be responsible for being a business partner to the commercial team and have overall responsibility for the Professional beauty business in Mexico and Latam. You will work closely with Sales, trade marketing and revenue management teams to achieve company goals with focus on trade spending and customer profitability. You will play a pivotal role between the finance team various stakeholders and work with managers to proactively identify improvement opportunities, promo efficiencies, pricing, and evaluate growth opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Senior Sales Finance Manager of Latam, you will be responsible for:
• Provide financial leadership and guidance to the Sales Team of Mexico and Latam Professional Beauty, including Net Revenue forecasting and budgeting.
• Analyze sales performance and market trends to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to set and monitor sales targets, quotas, and incentive structures.
• Collaborate with Sales team to manage, optimize and control GTN (trade spending) of the business
• Manage pricing related activities (evaluation, control and compliance)
• Establish and provide regular reports and leverage to the Sales team to inform sales historical and future data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and implement sales effectiveness initiatives, such as Promotional Initiatives.
• Serve as an extension of the TM team to educate them on sales trends and trade funds management
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies in all sales finance activities.
• Collaborate on the monthly closing related to Net Revenue
• Support from the financial perspective the SRM and S&OP process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
- Language fluency in English and Spanish
- 4+ years of financial experience; Extensive knowledge in forecast, budget control, and sales finance activities.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of financial statements
- Experience in fast consumer moving goods companies
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment across multiple levels of management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
- Demonstrates exceptional planning, interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to challenge management and engage and participate in high level business discussions including operational reviews.
- Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion or other business intelligence software would be an advantage.
