THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Total Rewards Manager to support our Director of Rewards in leading compensation, benefits, and wellbeing strategies. This role will focus on compensation benchmarking, overseeing the merit process, developing innovative benefits programs, and implementing wellbeing initiatives with a regional emphasis on the Americas, particularly in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. The ideal candidate will also manage special projects aimed at enhancing our total rewards offerings and supporting our overall talent strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compensation Benchmarking:
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitive compensation structures across the Americas.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to develop and maintain job evaluation and salary structures specific to regional markets, with a focus on Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.
- Analyze compensation trends in these markets and make recommendations for adjustments to attract and retain top talent.
- Merit Process Management:
- Oversee the annual merit review process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and equity across teams in the Americas.
- Conduct pay equity evaluations and present recommendations
- Monitor and analyze merit budget utilization and ensure adherence to governance
- Benefits Strategy:
- Design and implement comprehensive benefits programs that meet the diverse needs of employees in our region.
- Evaluate and benchmark existing benefits offerings, making recommendations for enhancements or changes that align with regional best practices.
- Partner with external vendors to negotiate and manage benefit contracts tailored to local markets.
- Wellbeing Strategy:
- Promote and execute a holistic wellbeing strategy that supports physical, mental, and financial health across the Americas.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and wellbeing, including wellness programs, mental health resources, and work-life balance support.
- Assess the effectiveness of wellbeing programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Special Projects:
- Lead special projects related to total rewards, such as developing new compensation models, people analytics, implementing HRIS enhancements, or product implementations/improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree and/or compensation professional certifications are a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in HR, total rewards, compensation, or benefits management, with specific expertise in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in compensation analysis and benchmarking tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across levels.
- Proven project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
- Proficiency in Spanish, English, and/or Portuguese is a plus.
