THE ROLE 

The Sr. Analyst, Sales– is part of a larger Commercial Team, embedded in the brands, whose top line mission is to: 

  • Support the deployment of new and existing Innovation through tracking Commercial Readiness across all Channels and all brands in Wella portfolio 

  • Support Sales teams by providing relevant sales information, assets and data to secure new distribution and support existing product portfolio. 

  • The Planning & Operations Department is a service-oriented department responsible for coordinating practical, functional, Interdepartmental workstream including Analytics, Reporting, Tracking, Planning, Scheduling and Communication.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Reporting: Provide key insights that help the team to make choices and drive the business. Responsible for all Promotional reporting. 

  • Consolidate performance and report to key stakeholders. 

  • Partner with Trade Marketing Managers and Customer Teams to provide POS data, provide key insights and actionable next steps. 

  • Tracking: Track initiative and promotional activities (volume forecasts, actuals & re-allocations).  

  • Cross-functional Execution: To execute the day-to-day business with excellence, partner with multifunctional teams (Demand Planning, Marketing, Finance, Sales teams, Master Data, Product Supply) in matters of pricing, product registration, forecasting, customization, documentation, communication, and promotional activities. 

  • Communication Key Link: Planning, Scheduling, Deploying, Organizing and Tracking all steps in commercial readiness for initiatives and promotions. Develop/Improve and document processes and procedures. 

  • Develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline. 

  • 3+ years of analytical experience on business tracking and reporting.  

  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive. 

  • Ability to work independently and cooperate with others. 

  • Strong time-management skills. Ability to prioritize deadlines and multiple tasks. 

  • Strong organizational, planning, and critical thinking skills. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Strong technical and analytical skills; Ability to conduct Business Analytics, analyzing product lines and overall profitability of the business and make recommendations 

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office (Excel Engineer, PowerPoint, Word), Power-BI is a plus. 

  • Proficient knowledge of business tools (SAP, BW, …). 

  • The beauty industry is a plus.
