THE ROLE

We are seeking a seasoned Head of E-Commerce & Digital Platform to lead and manage our online business operations. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in e-commerce,  platform management, and optionally digital marketing, and will be responsible for driving the growth and performance of our digital sales channels. This role involves overseeing a dedicated team of three individuals and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless online customer experiences and robust digital presence.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to achieve business goals and drive revenue growth, with full financial responsibilities, including sales forecasts and trade spend budgets.

- Customer Management: Manage customer relationships, developing joint business plans with e-commerce customers aligned with brand strategies.

- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

- Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms, ensuring optimal functionality, user experience, and security.

- Online Positioning: Define a local SEO process and governance. Own and support execution of our global, multi-brand and sites SEO strategy. Supervise the creation and update of SEO playbook and guidelines.

- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor and report on e-commerce performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Support reporting and presenting of monthly presented KPI´s

- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and agencies.

- Customer Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive online shopping experience, addressing any customer issues promptly and effectively.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

- Innovation and Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in e-commerce and digital platform management, with a proven track record of driving online sales and managing digital projects.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in developing and nurturing talent.

- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in e-commerce technologies, platforms, and web analytics tools.

- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to online operations.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong commercial awareness, experience in P&L management, budget planning, and customer management.

- Experience in managing commercial trade agreements and senior commercial negotiations.

- Experience in project management, working in partnership with international colleagues and consultants
