Position Summary:
The Associate Manager, Global Education – Prestige Care is responsible for owning the development and execution of education initiatives across the Prestige Care portfolio, including Sebastian Professional, Nioxin Pro Clinical, and Briogeo, within the framework of the global education strategy.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Education – Prestige Care Portfolio and working closely with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Product Development, and regional education teams, this role translates brand and education strategy into impactful education assets, service protocols, and training programs for the professional salon community.
The role operates with autonomy on execution, leading the creation and deployment of global education programs, while ensuring alignment with the overall strategic direction and priorities of the Prestige Care education function.
Key Responsibilities:
Education Content & Program Development
• Own the development and execution of global education programs and toolkits aligned with defined brand and education strategies, product launches, and service innovation.
• Translate brand and education strategy, as well as product innovation, into clear and engaging education content for professional stylists and educators.
• Develop service protocols, technical education assets, and digital training resources.
Training Deployment & Market Enablement
• Lead the rollout of education programs across markets in partnership with regional education teams.
• Drive global Train-the-Trainer initiatives to ensure consistent knowledge transfer and capability building.
• Analyze feedback from markets and educators to continuously improve training effectiveness and relevance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Global Marketing and Product Development teams to integrate product knowledge, ingredient stories, and technical expertise into education materials.
• Drive alignment of education initiatives across Sebastian Professional, Nioxin Pro Clinical, and Briogeo to ensure consistent messaging and execution across the Prestige Care portfolio.
Education Operations & Project Management
• Own timelines and deliverables related to education program development and deployment.
• Lead coordination of education shoots, content production, and training initiatives.
• Ensure education deliverables are executed on time and aligned with business priorities.
• Execute education initiatives in line with global priorities and strategic direction defined at the portfolio level.
Industry & Market Engagement
• Stay connected with salon trends, stylist needs, and emerging techniques within the professional haircare industry.
• Support initiatives that strengthen engagement with professional stylists, educators, and creators across the Prestige Care brands.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in professional haircare, beauty education, or technical brand training.
• Strong knowledge of professional salon environments and stylist education.
• Experience developing or delivering technical education programs within the beauty or haircare industry.
• Strong understanding of haircare products, ingredients, and scalp care; trichology knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to translate technical product information into clear and engaging training content.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and education teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for professional beauty, education, and innovation within the salon industry.
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles—pay Range: 75,000-100,000 salary per year plus bonus. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
