Working with your Wella colleagues you will represent our business needs toward external business partners and be an active advocate who also flows ideas from our external partners into Wella teams. You will work to enable an agile and effective supply chain for all our goods and services, responsive to the changes in our business.

THE ROLE
The role of North America Third-Party Manufacturing (TPM) Leader is to create and drive the strategic interventions on the regional TPM nail & hair care subcategories spend for the newly formed company. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the design and strategic choices in this area building upon previous corporate strategies and experience while shaping them to fit the needs of a smaller and more agile business.
Working closely with the Global TPM Leader you will be implementing new strategies and plans in the TPM spend area; more specifically focusing on the nail care (lacquers, gel) and hair care subcategories. You will engage internal stakeholders to review business needs and spend drivers, support strategic choices on spend policies and define the external capabilities needed to deliver value and growth.
You and your team will work on simplification and consolidation of business partners to enable stronger supplier relationship management and better capability to support the business. Today the hair care and nails category represents a spend of 50 Million US$ and over 20 suppliers.
You are responsible for driving strategy, savings initiatives and business plans with discipline to deliver the fiscal year objectives as well as longer term interventions in the 3-5 year horizon. You will create savings and spend insights to support policy and spend better decisions. You will work to ensure transparency and governance of spend processes and policies globally, sharing findings, savings and transferring best practice experiences.

You will ensure appropriate support and alignment with regional and global teams, R&D, Operations, Marketing and Finance in the implementation and execution of the strategy and projects. In all your activities you are acting as a commercial expert to ensure best value and strong stewardship of the company’s money to deliver best value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business
- Design/refine and implement new sourcing strategies and strategic interventions across the TPM spend segment
- Deliver fiscal year targets in 2021 and establish 5-year business plan for Direct Spend
- Implement Supplier Relation Management program and drive Year on Year improvement in quality, service, talent and value
- Support business plan to improve ethical and environmental sourcing
- Implement governance and control including contractual agreements and policies
Organization
- Develop capability and collaborate with Wella’s global procurement team to deliver maximum efficiency and value to business
- Implement processes and tools to support sourcing activities
- Engage and influence stakeholders in other functions in Category Strategy definition and implementation
- Ensure the ongoing training and development of self and team in procurement best practices and skills
QUALIFICATIONS
Profile and education:
- Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain organizations, at least 4-6 years
- Work experience in an international environment and matrix organizations
- Capable and proven track record of stakeholder management including business Leaders (internal and external)
- Experience in implementing, developing and managing sourcing strategies
- Experience in working with complexity challenges
- Degree qualified preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or other relevant discipline. MBA advantageous.
- High degree of fluency in written and spoken English is required

- Results oriented individual with solid proven track record in delivering value (cost and cash) and improving effectiveness of sourcing networks

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: <$98,300 - $144,100 > salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
