THE ROLE
The role of Global OPI Marketing Manager reports to the Director, Global Partnerships, Color Collections, Gifting and Sets. This role is responsible for leading seasonally themed color collections bundles, and supporting partnerships and base business commercial activation. Candidates will need to excel in identifying and implementing new color trends that will drive incremental customer support across omni-channel, incremental net revenue and excitement for the color category. The role requires strong partnership with cross functional partners such as Finance, Supply Chain, Education, Creative, owned Digital, and Trade marketing, as well as collaboration with Regional Teams and local markets. The successful applicant will thrive in a fast-paced environment where accountability and ambition are paired with a desire to achieve results collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a business owner: Understand the sales trends, customer trends, and stay up-to-date on industry trends to make strategic choices and actions to drive the business. Manage marketing budget within corporate processes and procedures, and be responsible for project P&L’s in line with brand targets. Track business results, analyze and derive insights from sales and consumption data, and provide actionable strategies and brand plans.
- Drive the brand vision and campaign through compelling color stories, develop 360 marketing strategy in collaboration with multi-functional teams designed to win with brand dual target consumers and professionals, and deliver launch toolbox guidance with excellence. This includes role in portfolio, communication strategy and priorities, creative concept, assets across touchpoints and role in fueling customer value and category growth.
- Lead and collaborate with high priority markets to deliver key brand initiatives that are fit to win in priority markets and channels.
- Work closely with external partners on brand collaborations, negotiating to deliver assets and join partner support from concept to activation. Support and coordinate efforts to activate partnerships to full potential globally, in the regions and with priority channels.
- Lead development of marketing plans for all product and commercial initiatives to drive the base, including capitalizing on trends and key consumption periods, including high gifting KCP’s.
- Brief and lead total project team through stage gate process and creative development process, and lead post launch assessment and learnings for largest brand launches and partnerships.
QUALIFICATIONS

- 3-5 years relevant work experience in marketing or brand management, preferably in beauty industry (nail industry a plus).
- Working with external brands on strategic partnerships is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience across all areas of brand management (global, local, media planning including digital, influencer marketing, market analysis, market research, P&L management, marketing plans development…). Marketing mastery and executional excellence
- Strong strategic skills, and eye for beauty and creative
- Strong analytical skills and digitally savvy
- Must be a self-starter, needs to be able to act with agility. The Nail market is constantly evolving & changing. Needs to be able to stay focused on key priorities but also adapt quickly to a changing landscape.
- Strong presentation and communication skills. Ability to show leadership, work alongside and present to senior management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Operational & financial discipline
- Driven leader with strong sense of ownership, accountability, strong collaboration skills (win for the team) and action oriented mentality.
- Ability to Energize, Engage and Enable the team and markets to deliver with excellence on long lead innovation, GTM strategies and plans.
- Proficient computer knowledge - MS Office (specifically Excel, PowerPoint)
- A bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA is preferred.

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $100,000-$120,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
