THE ROLE
We’re looking for a highly capable Benefits Manager to join our Global Rewards Team. This role will be responsible for driving and influencing the development and execution of the Wella company’s employee benefits programs. It is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced company, where you will have the opportunity to help us manage and scale our benefits programs and wellness initiatives around the world in line with our strategic goals. You will be aligned to our Global Rewards function and work closely with the HR teams across the countries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the execution of the company’s global benefits and wellbeing strategy, working collaboratively with the Regional Reward Partners and Local Reward Specialists across the countries.
- Review our benefits plans regularly to ensure compliance, competitiveness and alignment with company strategy and growth plans. Partner with our global benefits brokers, plan administrators and vendors to set up and administer competitive benefits plans, as required.
- Liaise with the global broker to ensure timely renewals of the employee insured benefits across the countries.
- Drive initiatives and programs in line with the Total Employee Wellbeing strategy
- Deploy effective benefits communication strategies to ensure awareness, education and understanding of the benefits and wellness programs (including written communications, 1:1 meetings when needed, presentations) and success metrics
- Support governance of benefit programs and processes across the countries, periodic audits and prepare reports
- Work with Reward Partners and country HR teams to support implementation of benefits and wellbeing related programs
- Analyze program usage and effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements for global benefit and wellbeing programs
- Manage all Benefits data files and exchanges from a variety of sources (like global broker, HRIS etc.)
- Coordinate special projects as assigned and support the implementation lifecycle.
- Deploy and report the success metrics for the benefits and wellbeing programs
- Provide day to day benefits support to the country HR teams and be the first point of contact on benefits queries and issues. Management of Benefits Inbox, query management and responding to HR team queries, escalating when necessary.
- Provide interim support for Global Mobility programs as needed, ensuring continuity of assignment and relocation activities while coordinating global benefits and mobility-related initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively to suggest and evaluate the best solutions for administrative and cost optimization
- Strong sense of urgency and a customer-first mindset
- Being a passionate and driven member of our Total Rewards team and assisting team members with any ad hoc people projects and tasks
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- More than 5 years’ experience in a Rewards or Benefits management role, experience working in regional or global role is preferred.
- Familiarity with various types of wellbeing and benefits programs
- Experience with HR systems and particularly benefits and wellbeing related systems like Darwin etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Takes a high degree of ownership, aims for high standards of accuracy, but readily communicates and drives solutions when things tend to go wrong.
- Supportive, willing to help and communicates openly with the business.
- Highly organized, creates structure, manages deadlines and systematic via effective time management.
- Proficient in English
