The Finance Team delivers an effective finance support service to the business to strengthen decision-making by providing timely and accurate reporting and business information. The appropriate financial control framework facilitates improvements in the business, promotes the management of financial risk within the organization and meets increasing statutory and regulatory requirements.

THE ROLE

We are seeking for a Pricing Analyst to support the pricing and promotion optimization workstreams and help the commercial finance team in all strategic revenue matters. The role will report into the FP&A & Commercial Finance Senior Director and will be based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Strategic Revenue Management is key to maximize company’s profitability. This practice includes the areas of pricing, promotion optimization, trade terms and active portfolio management.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in the definition and implementation of the Pan European pricing strategy. Monitor prices at customer/SKU level ensuring enforcement of price floors across Europe. Track, report and maintain customers actions plans and evolution of prices.
  • Apply methodology for calculating List Price, Price Floor, Price ceiling across products lines within various market segments. Maintain EU price list and periodically update appropriately.
  • Track market trends and keep up to date on prices set by competitors.
  • Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness, identifying leakage buckets within the price waterfall.
  • Prepares informative business reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing and interpreting financial data for decision support.
  • Develop, deploy and maintain promotional tools globally working with local teams.
  • Automate and harmonize promotional processes driving consistency globally and fixing system issues.
  • Support local teams in regularly monitoring and evaluating promotional activities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in areas such as analysis, accounting, or operations management.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools, financial modeling, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and clear presentation of financial insights and findings.
  • Solid organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.
  • A proactive approach, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and operational enhancement efforts.
