ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager Employee & Labor Relations to join our fast-paced organization. In this newly created role, you will partner closely with Global Employee & Labor Relations, the People Team and other functions to support and drive complex projects across the organization. This role combines legal insight, HR expertise, project management excellence and digital innovation, including confident and purposeful use of AI solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate cross-functional and global stakeholders (HR, Legal, Real Estate, Finance, IT, Data Privacy) in global projects.
- Drive process simplification, standardization and digitalization, leveraging AI-enabled tools and workflows to increase efficiency.
- Manage digital works council and social partner processes in Germany and Europe, including creation of playbooks, templates and governance structures.
- Ensure strong project governance through effective planning, risk management, milestone tracking, documentation and quality assurance.
- Prepare decision papers, facilitate Steering Committees and working groups, and ensure clear and consistent communication across regions.
- Support training development and contribute to the establishment of best practices, project standards and continuous process improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Business Law, Business Administration or a comparable discipline, or equivalent professional experience with a proven track record in global HR/Legal projects.
- Relevant experience in project management, ideally gained in an international law firm, consulting environment or global corporate HR/Legal function.
- Strong analytical capabilities paired with the ability to structure and communicate complex topics clearly.
- Strong business acumen, with experience in supporting complex stakeholder negotiations.
- Proactive, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, especially in challenging and time‑critical environments. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Proficiency in English.
- Expertise in planning, structuring and executing complex projects using recognized methodologies (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA). Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) is an advantage.
- Confident use of AI‑based solutions in process optimization, document workflows, knowledge management and data-driven project steering.
- Curiosity and willingness to explore new technologies, with the ability to identify meaningful use cases for AI and digital tools.
