THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly driven Sr Trade Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team and drive growth within our Hair Retail brands.
The Trade Marketing Manager Jr for Retail Hair is responsible for driving the brand’s presence and sales performance within key retail channels. The role will involve developing and executing trade marketing strategies, managing relationships with retailers, and ensuring alignment between sales and marketing teams to optimize product availability, visibility, and consumer engagement in-store.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development and execution with the right trade marketing mix (distribution, promotion, pricing, display) for Hair Color category to drive growth and market share in retail and other key distribution channels across Latam countries (w/o Brazil).
- Monitor and Analyze business performance (category results, competitor activities, retailer performance, trade promotions and activations) to identify opportunities and insights for improvement in the trade marketing mix.
- Track and report on brand promotions and activations, providing insights and recommendations for future executions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (especially Marketing and Sales) to ensure timely execution of projects.
- Constant collaboration with the Sales team to ensure that initiatives and promotions are carried out effectively by country.
- Forecasting per country for launches, distribution opportunities, initiatives and Sell Out Trends per brand.
- Prepare and present reports on monthly business performance, sales impact, and competitor activity to global and leadership team.
- Deep expertise in trade investment management, including the design, allocation and optimization of promotions and discount mechanisms by channel and key customer, ensuring ROI-driven decisions and alignment with commercial strategy.
- Responsible for the trade marketing budgets for AOP (promotion and visibility), ensuring profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in Trade Marketing or related Department within the FMCG sector (preferably in beauty-related products).
- Strong analytical skills and mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
- Good knowledge and understanding of local trade retailers.
- A high level of commitment and sense of accountability.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Desirable:
- Experience working within a global matrixed organization.
