Job Description: Controller Manager
Overview
The Controller Manager is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial planning, operational reporting, and performance management processes. This role ensures accurate budgeting, timely reporting, and insightful analysis that drives informed decision‑making across the business. The position also contributes to compliance, safety culture, and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Operating Reports (MOR), ensuring accuracy and adherence to established deadlines.
- Manage the annual budgeting process, monitoring financial performance against projections.
- Adjust budgets based on price variations and ensure updates are reflected in financial forecasts and expense planning.
- Develop reserves and provisions to support account balances related to I‑trade, Purchase Price Variances, E&O, inventory, and other key areas.
Cost & Variance Analysis
- Calculate and estimate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for productivity projects and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare performance reports for Material Usage and Loss, providing analysis to identify root causes of variances.
- Evaluate and report significant cost and expense variances, offering insights that support resource optimization.
Communication & Stakeholder Support
- Communicate operational results, insights, and findings clearly and promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide analytical support to cross‑functional teams to enhance financial understanding and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Promote a strong Internal controlls and support Internal/External audit processes.
- Participate in the organization’s performance management and growth systems.
