For our Omnichannel team that is focussing on e-commerce and premium retail, we are looking for an Activation Specialist. In this role you will be tracking & optimizing the activations across these end consumer channels for our Northern European cluster (BNL & Nordics). You will be working with the commercial teams and internal stakeholders, like Marketing & Finance. Your ability to manage a holistic view of our activations across markets and players is key to accelerating our business and growing our brands in these channels.

 

To be successful in this role you need to be able to work with different teams and stakeholder to create a holistic overview of our marketing & promotional activations with our (e-)retailers, from which we can track information, generate insights and optimize our strategy. You will not only be coordinating this, but also leveraging trends & best practises to create stronger and exciting activations that inspire consumers. Ultimately, we need to make sure we are spending our budgets in the best way, so you will help us to make sure we are driving the best ROI.

 

You will be working with A-brands in a FMCG environment. Our (e-)retailers are ranging from Douglas & Bol in the Netherlands to Lyko & Kicks in Sweden. Within our Omnichannel team you will be part of the End Consumer Channel (ECC) Trade Marketing team and will be reporting to the Associate Director EEC Trade Marketing & New Business.

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO
In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating & tracking our marketing & promotional planning for our e-commerce & premium retails channels
  • Creating a holistic overview & calendar to drive alignment & optimizations
  • Aligning activations with internal stakeholders, like Finance and the Brand teams
  • Leading the booking & tracking of budgets tied to activations
  • Optimizing the effectiveness and ROI of our activations
  • Developing stronger or new activations based on insights, trends & best practices
  • Tracking & reporting on trends, market developments & competiton
  • Working closely with regional and global teams

 


WHAT WILL YOU BRING

 

  • Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field;
  • Relevant working experience;
  • Strong coordinating skills;
  • Able to look at the big picture, while having an eye for detail;
  • Clear, collaborative communicator;
  • Very strong stakeholder management;
  • Think & act like a start-up mentality: entrepreneurial and high ownership;
  • Energized by dynamic environment;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Desirable

  • Affinity with Beauty. Prior beauty category experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite;

The selection process will be done via interviews with HR, hiring manager and the ECC Director. Calibration of several candidates and interviews will either lead to direct decision or an additional interview if needed.
