About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to manage and coordinate end‑to‑end sales and import operations, while also supporting local office administration and HR-related tasks in Turkey. This is a multi-functional and critical role ensuring business continuity, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of products from international shipment through customs clearance to final sales invoicing. Acting as a key operational anchor, the role works at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and external partners, requiring strong operational ownership, adaptability, multitasking skills, and a deep understanding of local processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end import operations from order placement to warehouse entry, including truck arrival and nationalization (millileşme) processes.
- Coordinate the entire operational sales process from product loading at the distribution center to sales invoicing to the distributor.
- Organize, track, and manage international shipments (land and cross-border transportation) and dispatch in collaboration with transport companies and distributors.
- Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, transport providers, and logistics partners, coordinating pre-clearance and customs clearance processes.
- Review, validate, and manage import documentation (invoices, packing lists, transport documents, HS codes, customs declarations, etc.) ensuring strict compliance with Turkish customs, import, and local invoicing regulations.
- Coordinate delivery from customs and bonded warehouse facilities to the distributor warehouse.
- Manage warehouse receiving, stock entry, and system updates (ERP/WMS), ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Create, process, and support accurate cost and data allocation for Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, e-delivery notes, and e-invoices, ensuring successful legal transmission via local systems.
- Prepare and maintain operational tracking files (Excel), including SKU-level reconciliation, cost calculations, discrepancy resolution, and shipment monitoring in coordination with global and local teams.
- Coordinate import invoice processing, customs duty payments (including verification of exchange rates), and related documentation with Finance and external service providers or accounting offices.
- Work closely with Sales and Finance teams to prioritize shipments and maintain product availability based on business requirements and sales targets.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Suppliers, Customs Brokers, and external Accounting Offices.
- Support internal controls execution, audits, and compliance activities, maintaining proper operational documentation and proactively identifying operational risks and improvements.
- Monitor lead time, cost, and delivery performance, preparing regular operational reports to maintain efficiency, service levels, and compliance.
- Support local and global teams as needed with office, administrative, monthly HR-related tasks, or any other locally required tasks.

Requirements
- Proven experience in sales operations, import/export, supply chain, or logistics coordination
- Strong understanding of customs processes, import regulations, and local invoicing requirements (Turkey)
- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and proactive problem‑solving
- Fluent communication skills in English and Turkish
