ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Supply Chain Supervisor - Initiative Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Brazil.
In this role, you will support the end-to-end planning and execution of product launches, restages and portfolio transitions, ensuring that each initiative is operationally ready and aligned with business priorities.
You will connect multiple areas across the organization, translating project plans into executable Supply Chain actions. This includes anticipating risks, coordinating product transitions, monitoring inventory exposure and ensuring that supply, systems and operational requirements are ready for launch.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support the end-to-end Supply Chain planning and execution of new product launches, restages, source changes and portfolio transitions.
- Translate business plans and launch timelines into integrated Supply Chain readiness plans.
- Coordinate phase-in and phase-out planning, considering inventory, forecast, open orders, production plans and expected launch dates.
- Identify potential risks related to product availability, excess inventory, obsolescence, service level, cost and project timing.
- Develop scenarios and recommend mitigation actions to support effective business decisions.
- Monitor Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods inventory exposure associated with product initiatives.
- Coordinate Supply Chain readiness activities, including product and Master Data setup, operational testing and logistics requirements.
- Follow production, shipment, importation and distribution milestones against the initiative timeline.
- Maintain project trackers, risk logs, action plans, KPIs and management reports.
- Prepare planning inputs and recommendations for project reviews, launch readiness meetings and decision-making forums.
- Facilitate alignment across Marketing, Trade Marketing, EXO, Finance, Regulatory, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Master Data, Logistics and other key areas.
- Collaborate with local, regional and global teams, as well as external manufacturing and supply partners.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen governance and improve the quality and visibility of initiative planning.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
- Previous experience in Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, S&OP, project planning, inventory management or product launch management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect detailed operational information to broader business impacts.
- Good understanding of Supply Chain concepts such as forecast, inventory, lead time, service level, minimum order quantity and excess and obsolete inventory.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities and deadlines in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive approach to identifying risks, following up on actions and escalating issues when needed.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with data analysis, reconciliations, scenarios and management reports.
- Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in FMCG, beauty, consumer goods or another environment with a complex portfolio and frequent product changes.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, phase-in and phase-out planning or E&O management.
- Familiarity with ERP and planning systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience with Master Data and operational readiness processes.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Experience collaborating with global teams, external manufacturers or international supply partners.
