Position Title: BR Indirect Procurement Manager

Location: Cidade Jardim - São Paulo

 

THE ROLE

The Procurement manager in Brazil will lead the indirect scope and operations activities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sourcing activities: Work close to stakeholder to develop and implement projects to achieve the business needs focus on savings, while maintaining quality and compliance;
  • Strategic Sourcing: Apply strategic sourcing methodologies to enhance supplier relationships and drive value in procurement decisions;
  • Activity Prioritization: Assess and prioritize procurement activities to align with business objectives and maximize efficiency;
  • Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving conflicts between stakeholders and suppliers;
  • Contract Support: Provide support in discussions and the drafting of contracts, ensuring that terms align with company policies and objectives;
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process/projects improvements in procurement, leveraging best practices. Work closely with global teams to optimize procurement strategies and share insights across regions;
  • SAP Operations Management: Oversee procurement processes within SAP, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Wella´s policies and ensure that Purchase Requisitions (PR) are converted into Purchase Orders (PO) efficiently;
  • SAP Improvement/Updates: Work closely with the IT team to ensure procurement activities in SAP projects are executed without delays and to identify and implement improvements and optimizations in procurement processes and transactions;
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development;
  • Compliance and Values: Ensure adherence to Wella policies and Code of Conduct.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Experience in procurement. It will be a plus to work in the MKT area.
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership;
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills;
  • Familiarity with procurement tools; knowledge of SAP and Ariba are a plus but not mandatory;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data effectively;
  • Proactivity and Organization skills are required;
  • Advanced English.
