About the Role:

We’re looking for a Sr. Director, Technology  to help redefine how commercial and marketing growth is powered across our global Consumer and Professional businesses. Reporting to the CDIO and partnering closely with executive leadership, this role sits at the center of our digital transformation—turning ambition into execution and platforms into performance.

You will own the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise digital platforms (Data, MarTech, Commerce), enabling Marketing and Commercial teams through scalable technology solutions. 

This is a rare opportunity to build, scale, and lead modern digital capabilities that directly influence revenue, customer experience, and long‑term growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive the digital technology strategy underpinning growth across acquisition, conversion, retention, and lifetime value

    • Lead the architecture, development, and scaling of enterprise platforms across Data & AI, MarTech, Commerce, and Content ecosystems
    • Build and lead high-performing product, engineering, and cross-functional teams in partnership with Marketing and business stakeholders
    • Establish a product-led operating model with agile delivery and clear ownership
    • Advance data-driven decisioning and experimentation capabilities through analytics and testing infrastructure
    • Ensure platform integration, scalability, security, and governance in partnership with IT
    • Translate complex technology initiatives into clear business outcomes for senior leadership

Who You Are

  • Technology leader with 12+ years in enterprise digital platform strategy and delivery
  • Deep expertise across Data & AI, MarTech, Commerce, and content systems
  • Proven experience owning enterprise platforms (e.g., CDP, CRM, CMS, Commerce)
  • Strong background in product, engineering, or technology organizations
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, and platform architecture
  • Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business value
  • Experience in omnichannel environments (DTC, eRetail, retail, B2B)
  • Builder mindset with passion for transformation and modernization 

 

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $235,000-250,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
