THE ROLE
Reporting to the SVP Of Prestige Care and Nail Division. This individual will be responsible for the business growth and brand building of Prestige Care, globally. The role requires strong leadership skills, disruptive thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit to expand and accelerate market leadership. Strong capabilities to drive share: leveraging consumer insights and data to guide the innovation and commercial strategy. They will demonstrate a deep understanding of the consumer journey & all touch-points with a digital centric mindset as well as business acumen to drive a high-performance-driven team and culture. The role requires strong collaboration skills to build effective partnerships with internal and external local and global stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LEVERAGE KEY INSIGHTS AND DEVELOP GLOBAL BRAND STRATEGY AND 3-YEAR GROWTH PLAN:
- Help redefine/enforce brand equity and drive strategy as we evolve to a more consumer-focused brand while retaining professional credentials
- Enable decision-making through data, global and regional insights to drive business opportunities further
- Additional tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
LEAD PRODUCT & COMMERCIAL INNOVATIONS CREATING NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES:
- Lead product innovation development inclusive of driving concept development through deployment, in partnership with the global cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful launches.
- Own the 3-5y calendar both for innovation and managing base business strategy (always-on) and the initiative gate process -- accountable for milestones and working with key partners.
- Develop market initiatives to drive growth in mature and new markets. Keep a pulse on the marketplace and understand global competition, including brands, products, and distribution.
- Partner with the CMI (consumer marketing insight) team for consumer insights/habits, concept testing, brand health, and our consumer persona to develop SOV.
- Strong digital mindset for commercial opportunities, ideation of new storytelling angles/content creation, social listening, and trends.
BRAND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT/ DEMAND CREATION:
- 360 Activation: Develop holistic Global toolboxes including communication, visuals, sell-in materials, launch promotions, store, salon and digital advertising & collateral to win online and offline.
- Partner- co-create with key markets to ensure fit for use and growth in market
- Lead creative briefing in collaboration with digital & influencer marketing, education and trade marketing teams for product innovations and commercial initiatives.
- Define, develop, and execute the brands’ portfolio choices and plans (pricing, promotion, etc)
- Portfolio + SKU management /optimization.
OWN GLOBAL BRAND P&L AND INITIATIVE P&L. MANAGE MARKETING BUDGET:
- Understand and lead P&L drivers to improve top and bottom-line growth on the brand globally
- Own P&L initiatives to deliver on COG/margin and brand target.
- Manage budget and optimize A&CP spend for this brand.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
- Manage a team of high-performing individuals, coach and drive their development

Essential Requirements:
- 12+ years’ experience in brand management or product marketing, ideally in a global environment. Experience in the beauty industry is strongly preferred.
- A strategic and visionary business/brand leader with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A growth mindset, self-starter, able to influence and navigate a complex organization to drive results
- Passion for beauty, relentless creative thinking, brand building, and ability to develop category and product expertise quickly.
- Strong organizational skills, operation discipline, and ability to work autonomously, under general direction, and deliver timely output requirements.
- Track record of working in a pace environment and managing multiple deliverables at once
- Highly collaborative and influential – strong ability to work well with other cross-functional partners – and create a culture of inclusivity with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proven track record of hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- A Master’s degree or MBA is required in Marketing or Business Management.
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $215,000-$230,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
