Location: Calabasas, CA (Hybrid 3 days in office)

THE ROLE

The role of Sr. Manager, Global Brand Portfolio & Operations, reporting to Associate Director OPI Global Portfolio & Operations and working closely with the Director, Global Brand Operations, Nail & Prestige Care Brands, will be responsible for driving global portfolio operations efforts as they relate to the commercial and go-to-market strategy for the OPI portfolio with focus on Professional  channels & base brand go-to-market activation excellence. The role requires strong partnership with cross functional partners such as Global Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain teams as well as collaboration with Regional Teams and local markets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports Global OPI Brands Portfolio & Channel 3 yr IMP.
  • Drives by professional channel growth strategy / platform across portfolio and global marketing function.
  • Leads deployment & follow through of fit for channel needs & global brand implementation.
  • Leads OPI professional brand pricing architecture & strategy.
  • Supports creation of annual OPI Global Success Model.
  • Partners w/ regional channels teams on new channel portfolio expansion plans
  • Develop Commercial Strategy and sales fundamentals guidance for OPI Professional and Base Business/Color LE’s Innovation Masterplan.
  • Key contributor to innovation and ongoing business analysis, learning and tracking across channels and regions.
  • Supports critical projects across the portfolio including Visual Merchandising guidance, Portfolio Optimization,

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-5 years’ experience in Global/Regional Commercial Roles in FMCG Industry and 3+ years’ experience in Global Trade Marketing. Experience in Nail or Professional Hair Industry is preferred.
  • Strong track record of autonomous problem-solving and business analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong external focus & in touch with industry/ retailers
  • Gravitas to influence key partners within regions, markets, and cross functional
  • Experience in the nail industry is a plus
  • Experience in Regional or Local Team is a plus
  • English mandatory any other language is a plus
  • A bachelor's degree is required (Business Administration, Marketing, Science or similar discipline), and an MBA is preferred.

 

 

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
