THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager of Online Retail Partnerships to join our team. This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and establishing partnerships with online retailers that align with our brand values and distribution strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop and implement effective launch strategies for new partnerships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a channel strategy of where to win and how to win that aligns with the Wella Company strategy and enhances the brand vision.
- Identify and evaluate potential online retail partners for the short and long term.
- Conduct market research to understand retailer capabilities, audience demographics, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective online retail partners.
- Negotiate and establish partnerships with online retailers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Responsible for the launch of the online partners via promotional plans, marketing support, content, etc.
- Develop and implement launch strategies for new partnerships, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and execution.
- Work closely with marketing and brand teams to create and execute promotional campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement across partner platforms.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of partnerships, using insights to optimize strategies and achieve business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 + years proven experience in online retail partnerships, business development, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of the online retail landscape and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough market research and analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving business objectives.
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and data analytics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $140,000 - $150,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
