ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will report and work closely with the Senior Manager for HR & Professional services, to create and drive strategic interventions on this spend, through the development and implementation of robust sourcing strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute and influence the design of the long-term plans (3-5 years horizon) for these categories.
You will lead end to end procurement projects, following the 7-steps process, from need definition to supplier selection and management. You will also support the development of global category strategies, with the objective of maximizing value, innovation, growth and efficiencies, while enabling business partners’ strategies.
Due to the landscape and fragmentation of the scope, the Procurement Manager will play a critical role in the overall category management agenda, to secure goals achievements, including creating efficient connections and collaboration with stakeholders, developing cross-functional roadmaps, and running regular reviews with key suppliers and stakeholders.
You will work to ensure transparency and governance of spending processes and policies globally, sharing findings, savings and transferring best practice experiences.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support the definition and development of Professional & HR services category strategies.
- Provide category and market expertise and guidance for the business.
- Lead end-to-end procurement initiatives and projects.
- Contribute to execution of the financial Strat Plan of the Business Services platform.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to secure business-wide alignment and support for category initiatives.
- Lead suppliers and contracts negotiations.
- Manage suppliers and/or solution implementation, including the coordination of transformation projects using project and change management tools and processes.
- Lead spend analytics activities and work closely with stakeholders to continuously identify new value creation opportunities
- Support and lead Supplier Relationship Management activities to secure supplier performance and enable additional value creation.
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG
- 3-5 years of procurement experience in various categories or other relevant supply chain experience, with a good understanding of HR & Professional services environment.
- A Bachelor´s / Master´s degree in Economics, Business or Engineering. MBA advantageous.
- Structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach, combined with a pragmatic, business-driven and results-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to plan, lead, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in digital procurement tools and data & AI capabilities.
- Good negotiation skills, strategic thinking and collaboration skills.
- High level of reliability, personal integrity, autonomy and ownership.
- Strong risk management capability, with the ability to identify risk areas, anticipate red flags, and support appropriate mitigation actions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to communicate complex topics in concise terms to various stakeholders including C-Suite.
- Ability to draft clear and effective recommendations and defend them.
- Ability to work across cultures with all levels of organization as well as with different functions.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken required.
- Willingness to travel as needed to implement the requirements above.
