THE ROLE
The Finance Analytics Analyst will be a key enabler of Southern Europe (SE) FP&A, supporting Iberia, France and Italy and reporting to the Associate Director FP&A SE
The objective is to support the Associate Director FP&A Southern Europe in understanding monthly business performance through structured scorecards, variance analysis and executive business insights and recommendations.
This role combines hands-on market support with performance management, forecasting, reporting and process standardization, supporting local and cluster FP&A teams across SE.
The Finance Analytics Analyst will support the transition from reporting-focused FP&A to insight-driven performance management, helping the organization better understand business drivers, forecast accuracy and key risks and opportunities across the cluster.
This role combines hands-on analytical support with financial planning, management control and reporting capabilities, positioning Finance as a proactive business partner to Southern Europe leadership teams.
A key objective of the role will be to support the Associate Director FP&A Southern Europe through structured scorecards, variance analysis and performance reporting, helping management teams understand what is driving NIS Brand and Channel growth, Net Revenue, Bottom line budgets and EBITDA performance across the cluster.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Partnering & Market Enablement
- Act as a strategic partner to Southern Europe Teams, designing and deploying analytical solutions that enhance forecast accuracy, landing visibility and overall business performance.
- Deliver monthly executive-level insights, clearly articulating key drivers, risks, opportunities and variances across the region.
- Translate business needs into impactful analytical models and dashboards leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI.
- Continuously upgrade forecasting methodologies, reporting standards and performance management frameworks to strengthen decision-making quality.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to cluster and market finance leadership, proactively identifying opportunities to improve reporting quality, forecast accuracy and business visibility.
- Drive Net Revenue Management insights through deep analysis of Gross to Net (GTN) channel profitability and promotional ROI.
2. Performance Management & Strategic Reporting
- Lead the consolidation of Monthly and Quarterly forecasts, periodic estimates and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) submissions across Iberia, France and Italy, ensuring alignment in assumptions and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain Southern Europe performance scorecards for the General Manager, covering both Top Line and Bottom-Line delivery.
- Provide robust variance analysis versus Actuals, Prior Year, Forecast and AOP translating figures into meaningful business narratives.
- Support key governance forums including Monthly Business Reviews, S&OP cycles and Leadership Team discussions.
- Convert financial data into actionable insights and clear recommendations to influence business decisions.
3. Central Capability Building & Process Excellence
- Design and scale reusable reporting assets, standardized templates and planning frameworks across Southern Europe.
- Define and document reporting methodologies, governance standards and reconciliation processes to ensure consistency and transparency.
- Drive harmonization of management control processes across markets, enhancing comparability and efficiency.
- Lead automation and process simplification initiatives to reduce manual workload and improve speed and reliability of reporting.
4. Advanced Analytics, Market Insights & Decision Support
- Develop automated performance scorecards, advanced variance analysis tools and early warning indicators to anticipate business trends.
- Identify and quantify key drivers, risks and opp. across brands, channels / customers.
- Ensure analytical solutions remain focused on business impact, balancing technical sophistication with usability and adoption.
- Support preparation of high-quality materials for Executive Committee, Leadership Team and regional reviews.
5. Market Insights & Strategic Intelligence
- Integrate market research, competitive intelligence and industry trends into financial analysis to provide a forward-looking perspective on business performance.
- Support identification of structural growth drivers, market share dynamics and category trends across Southern Europe.
- Challenge internal assumptions by incorporating external benchmarks and market data into planning and forecasting processes.
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations to support commercial strategy, pricing decisions and resource allocation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with financial planning and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Oracle EPM).
- Strong skills in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Experience working with Data Lakes, BW environments and large financial datasets is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate large datasets into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and systems integration.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

SE SUPPORT MODEL
As part of the Southern Europe Finance organization, the Finance Analytics Analyst is expected to provide direct support to Iberia, France and Italy, acting as a key business partner to local FP&A teams and the Associate Director FP&A Southern Europe.
To ensure adequate support to the business and alignment with local market needs, the role is expected to maintain core Southern Europe working hours from 09:00 to 17:00 CET, allowing effective collaboration with local Finance, Commercial and Marketing teams across the cluster.
This working model is intended to maximize business interaction, responsiveness and decision-making support during normal Southern Europe operating hours.
The role is therefore expected to prioritize Southern Europe business support, forecasting cycles, performance reviews, management reporting and planning activities within these core working hours.
