Travel: At least 1x quarter to Calabasas (if NY based) + 4-6x year within the US/Globally

THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing & Brand Activation to lead and scale our influencer efforts across five distinct brands (Wella Professionals, Sebastian Professional, Nioxin, Briogeo, Clairol). This role is ideal for a creative, data-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment and has a proven track record of building impactful influencer programs and crafting authentic brand storytelling. In addition to leading Influencer Strategy and setting the vision for the brands, this role requires experience leading influencer and consumer events, whether for a new product launch, or as part of a sponsorship. This role reports into Head of Brand Communications, US.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is weighted 70% influencer marketing and 30% brand activations, with a focus on the following:

Serve as the strategic lead for influencer marketing across all brands, focusing on long-term vision, brand alignment, and scalable growth.

Develop high-impact influencer frameworks that integrate seamlessly with broader marketing and brand strategies.

Guide the team and agency partners in identifying the right influencer mix, campaign architecture, and performance benchmarks to drive brand equity and business results.

Ensure all influencer initiatives are rooted in data, cultural relevance, and storytelling that resonates with each brand’s unique audience.
Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute integrated influencer marketing strategies tailored to each brand’s identity and audience.

Lead cross-functional planning with brand, creative, and digital teams to align messaging and campaign goals.

Manage and mentor a team of influencer specialists.

Lead and influencer Global teams.
Influencer Marketing

Oversee influencer identification, vetting, outreach, and relationship management across all tiers, with an emphasis on Macro / Powerhouse.

Design and manage influencer campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, and setting up asst. manager for success in terms of execution.

Analyze campaign performance and optimize for ROI, engagement, and brand lift.

Manage Influencer Marketing Manager who supports on all Influencer Campaigns.
Cross-functional and team collaboration

Work collaboratively with PR, Social, Brand Marketing Teams, Media teams on every aspect of strategic and executional work

Collaborate especially with the Media team as it relates to Paid Media Campaign support with Influencer Marketing led assets

Analytics, Reporting & Budgets; Track KPIs and deliver performance reports to senior leadership.

Leverage insights to refine strategies and inform future campaigns.

Balance resources and budgets across brands to maximize impact and efficiency.
Brand Activations

Develop strategic in-person touch points with Influencers via relationship building meetings, and events both small and large scale

Collaborate with event / experiential Agencies to lead tactical planning for events (both influencer and consumer related) for either new product launches or sponsorships (F1)

Bring to life IRL brand moments with strong POV on design, and purpose, with an emphasis on KPIs
Minimum Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in influencer marketing and/or brand communications, preferably in a multi-brand or agency setting.

Strong network of influencer (and agents) across lifestyle, beauty, fashion, or consumer goods.

Proven leadership and team management experience.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills.

Candidate should be well-versed on social media channels (paid and organic), trends, branded content development, influencer and social metrics/analysis.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented, solutions-driven and organized.

Ability to multi-task, working on multiple projects at a time and to tight deadlines.

Strong initiative-taking and problem-solving skills

Data-savvy with experience using influencer platforms and analytics tools.

Passion for emerging trends in digital culture, social media, and brand storytelling.

Experience with experiential marketing / event marketing a plus.
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles—Pay Range:120,000 - 150,000 salary per year plus bonus. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
