THE ROLE
This position is the link between Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment to efficiently meet customer demand. The role will also be responsible for collaborating with the Key Account Managers, Customer Service, Finance, Trade Marketing on planogram updates and seasonal merchandising to impact on reduces inventory and logistics costs, enhances end-to-end supply chain efficiency and optimizes inventory movement, achieving common goals with the customer. Excellent communication, collaboration and information sharing are vital to ensuring the successful on this role.
- Drive KPI’s: In-stock, fill rate, and on-time to meet the customers’ expectations
- Provides analysis and insight to sales trends, order trends and inputs for forecasting
- General seasonal planning / execution / item performance
- End of season logic for discontinued sku´s: support of establishing and execution strategies
- Inventory management: item / store overstocks, strategy planning, sales planning
- Manages relationship with on-site Demand Planner with focus on improving forecast accuracy
- Acts as the internal contact for logistics, demand planning, production, and customer service
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on seasonal and everyday replenishment, planning, shipments, and execution
- Responsible to execute and align customer supply chain replenishment strategies and tactics to meet the goals of both the customer and company
- Provides supply chain and forecasting insights through analyzing data and translating various findings into actions, strategies, and tactics to improve on time, fill rate, and cost to serve
- Improve the quality of decision-making regarding customer service, forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, seasonal strategies, and strategic logistics and ordering efficiency improvements
- Serves as the analytical expert to internal partners, such as sales, customer logistics by providing recommendations and communication regarding order flow, planogram timing, shutdowns, and holiday strategies
- Serves as the “voice of the customer” with internal associates to enhance the understanding of the customer perspective – translate the company perspective to the customer to improve customer perceptions and facilitate win-wins for both
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of 5+ years of related business experience in CPFR, Supply Chain, or Forecasting.
- Minimum of 3 years CPFR, Logistics, Forecasting, or Supply Chain Experience
- Travel: Estimated 1-2 times per year
- Retail experience with mass accounts is strongly preferred
- Advanced English
- Influence decision-makers up and down one or more levels
- Demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills
- Devise and deliver persuasive presentations, based on data-driven insights and facts
Desirable:
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills; demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical experience specific Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Power user of Retail Link with Inforem knowledge a plus
- VMI experience is a plus
- Solid analytical, communication, leadership skills required
- Capable to build strong partnerships with customer and drive sales / ships while at the same time driving improved Service, Cost, and Cash
- Must be a “problem solver” with Supply Chain knowledge
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $65,000- $85,000 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
