THE ROLE

The Sr. Analyst position is responsible for ensuring appropriate inventory levels to support the market demand plan and strategy. Establish strategic collaboration with factories and global deployment team to ensure network supply strategies including inventory policies are established with service, cost, and cash balance. Have a focus to ensure excess and obsolete inventory is always not created. Provide regular market facing supply and service analysis including top projected missed dollars and actions plans along with historical analysis and gap to targets.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Weekly Inventory analysis and FR risk outlook preparation,

•  Supporting Sr. Manager with analysis on product availability status - data extraction from JDA/SAP and other sources

•  Collaboration with Demand Planner – understand the forecasting process and actively challenge/influence the building blocks that impact production and delivery of product

•  Collaboration with multifunctional team – focused on understanding current brand & channel strategies/needs and providing product availability context/watchouts

•  Proactive communication of potential supply crisis, developing risk mitigation proposals and executing allocation plans in the market.

•   Prepare and communicate supply outlook and critical risks/opportunities to commercial team on a regular basis

•  Phase-In & Phase Out codes tracking and stock management

•  Contribute to reduction of E&O stock in collaboration with Trade Marketing and Planning Hub - develop a deep understanding of supply chain limitations and opportunities and actively engaging other teams to deplete excess              stock and optimize initiatives execution

•  Challenge production/deployment plan when required

•  Drive alignment of safety/cycle stock parameters, minimum order quantities, and other system parameters to improve the inventory coverage within the region

•  Collaboration with the Planning Hub on production prioritization to ensure market needs are reflected & Fill Rate is on target

•  Participate in daily / weekly and monthly connects with all critical business partners

•  Ensuring successful Initiatives execution in the market, in collaboration with Market Initiative Planner and other functions, proactive risk mitigation plans, reducing PIPO disruption impact on daily availability for orders and             balancing Phase Out and Phase In inventory. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • Education: BA/ BS in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics or related field
  • Experience: 3-5+ years’ experience in supply planning, demand planning, project management, data analytics, and/or production management
  • Technical Skills: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Vision
  • Experience owning measures and improving results
  • Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly, transparently, concisely, and on a timely basis with leadership.  Comfortable with dealing with conflict and issue resolution
  • Ability to challenge and refine business process and/or data requirements
  • Aptitude for problem solving; proven ability to create, implement and measure new processes
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively across different styles.  Develop strong partnerships.  Must be able to work well with people not physically collocated.

Desirable:

  • Education: MBA/MS degree preferred
  • Technical Skills: SQL
  • CPG industry experience a plus

 

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
